    Based in the John Riddoch Centre, this branch look after the 19th century state heritage listed cottages on Petticoat Lane as well as the Telegraph Station and Post office on the corner of Riddoch and Church Streets.

The Penola branch, National Trust of South Australia have a local history and meeting room in the John Riddoch Centre and sometimes put changing themed displays inside the centre.

The group  look after the 19th century State Heritage listed cottages on Petticoat Lane: Davidson, Cottage, Gammon Cottage, Wilson’s Cottage and the Sharam Cottages, where there is a working herb and vegetable garden produce on offer to visitors for a small coin donation.

They also care for the Penola Telegraph Station (1860) and Post Office (1876) on the corner of Riddoch and Church Streets in Penola which they purchased in 1972 and are both presently leased, although changing displays are sometimes put inside the entrance hallway of the buildings.

Meetings 7.30pm on the third Monday of month (except December) at John Riddoch Centre
