• Pichi Richi Railway

    Pichi Richi Railway is an authentic heritage tourist railway and operating museum. We run scheduled train journeys on the oldest remaining section of the famous old Ghan narrow-gauge railway line. Pichi Richi Railway is based at Quorn, in South Australia’s Flinders Ranges. Trains depart from Quorn and Port Augusta for half day or full day trips.

Since 1973 Pichi Richi Railway Preservation Society Inc. has operated, maintained and managed the organisation. Our museum is housed in the old refreshment room of the Quorn Railway Station next door to the Flinders Ranges Visitor Information Centre.
