The Woman’s Christian Temperance established 1886, was at the forefront of the Suffrage movement. The WCTU collected 8,268 of the 11,000 signatures needed for the historical Bill to pass in South Australia. Our Teatotallers Tea Rooms has a Suffrage display consisting of hand written letters from prominent S.A. Suffragists, members of the Suffrage League, MP’s and other suffrage information. Our tea rooms offers Devonshire Tea and other items for sale.
