Advance Kingscote Progress Association, incorporated in 1997, is a small group of people whose progressive aim is to improve the facilities and appearance of Kingscote – the largest town on Kangaroo Island and South Australia’s oldest settlement – and its surrounding districts.
We strive to increase business opportunities whilst conserving the local heritage for the local community and visitors alike. We are actively involved in Town Planning, the maintenance of gardens in the town area, writing grant applications for improved facilities, and the important task of heritage conservation.
Our major project has been the restoration and improvements of the Reeves Point area.
