• Port Adelaide Historical Society Museum

    A museum that celebrates Port Adelaide’s rich maritime history, it is based on the personal collection of former merchant sailor Keith Le Leu (1926-2006) and it is now owned and managed by the Port Adelaide Historical Society.

The Port’s local community museum is located a few minutes from the centre of Port Adelaide and contains historic collections of Port Adelaide, Semaphore, LeFevre Peninsula and environs, including the maritime collection of Keith Leleu, which was commenced in 1962 to address the loss of all things maritime.

It houses a wide collection of artefacts, published materials, books, photographs & models arranged to interest all who love Port Adelaide and ships.

Entry fee is $5.00. Children attending with an adult are free of charge.

The Port Adelaide Historical Society Museum is located at 95 Fletcher Road Peterhead 5016.

Open Sundays 2.00-4.00pm and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.00am -1.00pm.
