Celebrating the life of Finnish boat builders Axel Stenross and Frank Laakso, who came to Port Lincoln on the SV Olivebank in 1927, the museum opened in 1983 and is on the waterfront and staffed by volunteers.

Filled with maritime history, relics and artefacts from windjammer days, it has indoor and outdoor displays, including an operating slipway, historic vessels and a blacksmith shop. You can also browse through the photographic collection, complete with touch screens.
