• Crystal Brook History Group

    Based at the former Council Chambers on Brandis Street, the group is committed to collecting local stories and reproducing historical photographs of local significance, especially community events, clubs, local families weddings etc for use by the community in historical research.

The group’s local history and genealogical collection include photographs of Crystal Brook homes, family history records and records of street names within the township.

The History Rooms are housed in the former Council Chambers. Its location was first proclaimed a Council area in 1882  and a District council in 1937.
