    The Noarlunga Volunteer Rifles Unit, a reenactment group was re-formed in 1992 by members of the Southern Rangers Blackpowder Club situated in the Noarlunga area to recreate for an important part of the Southern area's history using historically accurate uniforms, rifles and accoutrements.
