Re-enact SA (inc.) is a group of South Australian WW1 and WW2 enthusiasts who promote and participate in historical reenactment in South Australia and interstate.

Re-enact SA is a South Australian Military Re-enactment Group.   Members have a keen interest and desire to research and present the common soldier of World War II and to share camaraderie and friendship with likeminded individuals.  The purpose of ‘reenacting’ battles is not to glorify war, but rather to educate.

Our primary interest (or ‘impression’ as is known in living history circles) is the North African and Mediterranean campaigns of World War II.  Members are encouraged to portray a soldier from these campaigns.  This includes German Afrika Korps – Heer (Army) and Fallschirmjäger (Paratroopers), Australian 9th Division (2/48th), British 8th Army, US 1st division, or Tropical Italian troops.

We conduct reenactments utilising pyrotechnics, blank firing, replicas, vehicles and props.  Event scenarios are written around realistic historical objectives and themed battles.  In addition, authentic squad formations, tactics, language and camping is encouraged to add a sense of realism and to vividly transport the reenactor back in time.

The  group is affiliated to the Australian Living History Federation (ALHF) and members meet regularly on the first Sunday of the month.

Meetings first Sunday of month, 12noon-2pm
