The Renmark Paringa Community Museum is located on the River Murray between the Historic Paringa Lift Bridge and the Paringa Silo Art in what was previously the Paringa Silo Train Shunting Yard.
Run by a team of dedicated volunteers the Museum opened in 1975 with Exhibits displayed over 2.5 hectares reflecting the Renmark Paringa Districts Horticultural, Agricultural and River History.
The Museum’s collection includes our nationally recognised collection of 70 Vintage Stationary Engines (which most are run regularly), Horticultural Machinery, Agricultural Machinery, Trucks, Tractors, Wagons, 1956 Flood Display, Chowilla Dam Display and P.S Industry Display. Volunteers engage with visitors to educate about the Districts History, and exhibits relevance to the District.
