The SA Genealogy and Heraldry Society (Genealogy SA) promotes and encourages the pursuit of family history and allied subjects in South Australia.  Established in 1973, it is the leading resource for South Australian family history information.

Their library is housed at the historic Unley Institute and Library building. The SAGHS collection includes many items from copies of district birth, death and marriage certificates on fiche, to a huge selection of family and local histories.

During public opening hours experienced volunteers are available to assist Library users.

Tuesdays 10.30am-9pm
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10.30am-4.30pm
2nd and 4th Sundays each month, 1-4.30pm
Closed Monday and Friday for Society project work, transcriptions and for the Research Co-ordinator.
