The Uniting Church History Centre is managed by the Uniting Church SA Historical Society (UCSAHS). The Uniting Church SA Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Uniting Church history in South Australia, as well as the history of its antecedents – the Methodist, Congregational and Presbyterian churches.
Based in the former Church of Christ property in Black Forest, the Uniting Church History Centre stores and displays the records and memorabilia of the Uniting Church of South Australia, which are not required by the Synod to be lodged at the State Library of South Australia. The collection is managed by the Uniting Church SA Historical Society.
The Society also publishes historical articles, lectures and other such materials conducive to preserving the historical record of the church. It also promotes the interchange of historical information by lectures, forums, workshops, readings and discussion.
