The group encourages, develops and promotes the interest of researching Family History by having regular guest speakers and help nights, historical displays and lectures.
The group is based at Salisbury’s former police station dating from 1859, which is now the Salisbury TAFE Heritage Centre, part of the adjacent TAFE campus. The building also houses the folk museum of the Salisbury and District Historical Society.
