    The purpose-designed Heritage Centre, located within the St Peters Town Hall Complex, provides interested researchers with access to the Council's significant archival collection and an exhibition gallery to showcase the City’s local history and culture.

The purpose-designed Heritage Centre, located within the St Peters Town Hall Complex, provides interested researchers with access to the Council’s significant archival collection.

Cultural heritage services include history research, local family history, history of local houses, streets and buildings, conservation advice and referral service, civic collection, guided historical tours, interpretive signage program and cultural heritage events.

Our Cultural Heritage Advisor, Denise Schumann, is available Monday to Wednesday, 9.30am to 5pm by appointment, to assist you with expert advice and access to the collection.

The Centre also features an exhibition gallery to showcase the City’s local history and culture through an exciting program of displays and innovative events.
